Zarah Gosiengfiao, OTR/L, PAM, SWC
Zarah has been an Occupational Therapist for over 14 years. She graduated from San Jose State University in 1996 with a Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy. Zarah has received specialized training in the treatment of patients with neurological disorders, visual-perceptual deficits, handwriting problems, sensory integration disorder, and feeding issues. Her experience includes working with children of different ages in both outpatient and inpatient settings including treatment of premature infants in the NICU / PICU (Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units) . Zarah has her Advanced Practice Approval from the California Board of Occupational Therapy for the use of Physical Agent Modalitiesand Swallowing Evaluation, Treatment or Intervention. She is also a Level I Certified Handwriting Specialist through Handwriting Without Tears.
Courtney Markovich, MOTR/L
Courtney completed her undergraduate work at California State University of Hayward in Liberal Studies and her graduate work was completed at Samuel Merritt College University with a Master’s in Occupational Therapy. Pediatrics has always been her passion. She worked at Valley Montessori School in Livermore for 2 years while completing her college education. Her pediatric experience includes treatment of patients in the NICU, inpatient acute care, outpatient clinic and school-based settings. Courtney has worked with newborns to young adults with various diagnosis and/or developmental delay. Courtney is a Level I Certified Handwriting Specialist through Handwriting Without Tears and is an IYK Certified Yoga Instructor.
