Katie Irwin, SLP-CCC

Katie Irwin graduated from the University of South Dakota with a Bachelor of Science degree in Communication Disorders, and from the University of Kansas with a Master of Arts degree in Speech and Language Pathology. She has worked extensively with children with autism spectrum disorders, language delays, apraxia of speech, social/pragmatic deficits, and neurological impairments. Katie has experience in a variety of settings, including private schools, nonprofit organizations, pediatric clinics and home based early intervention. Her continuing education studies have furthered her skills and knowledge in the areas of PECS (picture exchange communication systems), feeding disorders, and social cognition. Katie is an expert clinician and skilled collaborator who enjoys working with other specialists as a member of a multidisciplinary team to create beneficial and meaningful treatment sessions for her clients. Katie is an IYK Certified Yoga Instructor.
